AISIN Variable Valve Timing Gears are used in engines to change the timing of the valve opening and closing, allowing for improved engine performance and efficiency.
The Variable Valve Timing Gear (VVT) helps adjust the opening/closing timing of the intake and exhaust valves using camshafts. An oil control valve (OCV), responsible for controlling oil flow into the camshafts, determines the rate of rotation of the VVT. (Vane-type)
