Rack and Pinions

AISIN Rack and Pinion is a type of steering gear that converts rotary motion from the steering wheel into linear motion of the steering linkage, providing precise steering control for a vehicle.

AISIN Rack and Pinion is a type of steering gear that is commonly used in automobiles. It converts rotary motion from the steering wheel into linear motion of the steering linkage, which in turn moves the wheels of the vehicle. The rack and pinion consists of a round gear called the pinion, which is connected to the steering shaft and meshes with a flat, long gear called the rack. The rack is connected to the steering linkage and is able to move left or right as the pinion rotates. As the driver turns the steering wheel, the pinion rotates, which in turn moves the rack, causing the wheels of the vehicle to turn.
