Building on the groundwork laid during his visit last year, Mr. Koyama’s return further emphasized AISIN’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and sustained growth across both the OE and aftermarket sectors in North and South America.

The visit served as a platform for in-depth discussions with regional leadership, focused on current economic factors, industry trends, and AISIN’s expanding role in supporting vehicle manufacturers and the U.S. aftermarket.

Mr. Koyama emphasized a balanced, long-term approach to navigating these challenges.
  • Market Forces Driving Demand: Topics included the effects of used vehicle pricing and new car sales volume on both OE and aftermarket demand. These insights are vital for forecasting, planning, and identifying high-opportunity product segments.

  • Aftermarket Strategy: With a close look at U.S. aftermarket conditions, the team reviewed product performance, upcoming launches, and ways to better meet the needs of service professionals and consumers. Several new product introductions for 2025 were also spotlighted.
