AISIN at AAPEX 2024

Unveiling a Bold Vision for the Aftermarket

AISIN made a powerful statement at AAPEX 2024, revealing its transformative plans to evolve into a total parts and service provider for the global aftermarket. With the unveiling of a new aftermarket-focused company for the Americas—AISIN Aftermarket & Service of America, Inc. - AISIN demonstrated its commitment to redefining its role in the industry.

This new company is the result of a strategic merger between AWTEC, an AISIN company specializing in transmission remanufacturing, and the aftermarket division of AISIN World Corp. of America (AWA). The merger underscores AISIN’s dedication to becoming a one-stop shop for automotive parts and services, ensuring customers have access to an expanded product lineup tailored to meet their needs.

Expanding Beyond the Core

AISIN’s renowned lineup of water pumps, oil pumps, and timing belt kits has long been a benchmark of quality and innovation. At AAPEX 2024, AISIN announced plans to significantly broaden its portfolio. New offerings will include maintenance essentials such as windshield wipers, high-quality lubricants, batteries, and tire accessories. AISIN is also entering the realm of advanced tools, paints, and equipment like wheel balancers and car lifts, further solidifying its position as a comprehensive provider for the automotive aftermarket.

A Global Commitment

With 36 locations in 17 countries, AISIN is strategically expanding its global network to deliver region-specific solutions. The newly formed AISIN Aftermarket & Service of America, Inc. will work closely with AISIN Sales Latin America (ASLA) to optimize product delivery times and enhance customer service across the Americas. AISIN’s acquisition of business assets from Leon Import in South America is a testament to its goal of strengthening its footprint in the region.

Driving the Future of the Aftermarket

"This evolution in how we do business in the global aftermarket will transform our customers' experience, giving them access to a wider variety of parts and more comprehensive services," said Scott Turpin, AWA's President and CEO. With a clear focus on innovation and collaboration, AISIN is positioning itself as a leader in meeting the ever-evolving demands of the global automotive community.
